Model Answer:

Before joining as a lecturer in Mathematics at a local college in Spain, I was unable to speak publicly. I felt embarrassed and thought what people might think if I made mistakes and many more issues. But now, I am a good public speaker and have achieved the quality by lecturing in the classroom in the college.

I joined the college in March of last year. Initially, it was tough for me to adjust to the situation. I was not habituated with the matter of speaking in public. My pupils used to laugh at me. So, I felt ashamed. With the passage of time, I have overcome the matter and now can speak fluently before the public. I can discuss any of the issues (though I do not have much knowledge about everything on the planet).

In the beginning, I felt ashamed. I actually cannot express my state of that time. I only thought what people would think about the matter if I make any mistake. Besides, I also felt shy and did not have confidence in me. I lost words while speaking. A sense of shyness always hindered my advancement. But when I started lecturing at the college, gradually I developed. Al the hindrances vanished.

I am proud of this achievement because I can speak freely at anywhere and at any time. Now, I am confident and can discuss even complex issues. I have learned using my intelligence and my communication skills have grown. Besides, I have also an enriched performance in all the other cases of my life. Considering all the grounds, I am proud of my skill.
