India is famous for its excellent architecture, beauty and heritage around the world. Our history is full of stories of the rise and fall of many kingdoms. Built by Shah Jahan in Agra, Taj Mahal is one of the world’s most famous and beautiful buildings. Taj Mahal is considered to be the highest in the Seven Wonders of the World. There are many well known monuments in Delhi such as Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, Jantar Mantar etc. Charminar in Hyderabad, many other famous monuments such as the Gateway of India in Mumbai make India popular all over the world. Religious monuments such as Jagannath Temple, Konark Sun Temple, Badrinath Temple, Delhi’s Jama Masjid, and Amritsar’s Golden Temple are some of the great buildings associated with Indian history and religion. All these monuments tell the story of our rich past. Millions of tourists from all over the world come to India to see these monuments.
